Hi, I'm Clíodhna

My Celtic music journey started when I was just a child. In Ireland there were two very distinct cello music camps: Classical and Traditional. Their paths ran parallel and never intertwined.

My schooling was in the Irish tradition and language but there were no cellos in traditional music. I loved the cello and, as my parents both cultivated a love for classical music, I became a classical cellist.

It wasn’t until much later that a potentially career-ending accident made me realize I missed the Irish songs and tunes from my youth. The Celtic Cello - my true love - was born.

My goal is to enchant, uplift and transform. Join me on this magical musical journey and let's create unforgettable memories together!
